Reebok's Insta-Pump Fury is one of the more unique models that you'll see out, but they never get any justice with nice colorways. Well for the spring Reebok finally got it right and gave them a couple simple looks...
Dubbed the "Tent" pack, the colors and materials are inspired by, well, tents and camping. So happy to see Insta-Pump Fury's in a nice colorway, but the model is really only popular in Asia so might be tough one to find. But you can always bust out Google Translate and buy them online, here.

The Patta Takeover
If you are even remotely into the sneaker game, I'm sure that you have heard or read the name "Patta" over the past few months. They've been doing particularly great things with Nike's Air Max 1, but even at Nike it seems like not everyone knows much of anything about Patta...Getting to know Patta:
1. Patta is a store located in Amsterdam (yeah, like you needed another reason to go to Amsterdam)
2. Always confused but Patta is not the same as Parra, although they have close ties. Both repping Amsterdam, Parra actually has done the Patta logo, designed tees, and has his art all over their store front.
3. Collaboration kings. I first heard of Patta when they did their thing with the Acics Gel Lyte last year, but they have since teamed up with Stussy, Kangol, Reebok for the Pump 20, New Era, Keep and Nike multiple times.
4. They're just getting started. Patta has plans to open another store in Amsterdam, as a shared space with Stussy where the focus will be more on clothes rather than Sneakers like their original Patta store.

So if you are ever in Amsterdam you know the very 1st place that you should be heading, and if you don't make it there, at least now you know a little more about the store that is bringing you all of these dope items.
You can read more about Patta's store and what they carry, here. Watch a video from Complex that gets inside the heads of team Patta, here.

Reebok - Pump20.com and More 20th Anniversary Celebration
Earlier this month we introduced the Colette x Reebok Pump being released as part of the Pump's 20th Anniversary celebration. Well today, Reebok launched www.Pump20.com, an on-line home to all-things PUMP.

Twenty years after the first pair was launched, Reebok is collaborating with 20 of the world’s most iconic sneaker stores to create 20 limited edition versions of The Pump. Featuring retailers from across Europe, Asia, the US and Australia these collaborations celebrate the iconic nature of The PUMP while giving each retailer their chance to customize the design classic in a fresh and exciting way. The shoes will be available on November 20th. Alongside their limited-edition Pump designs, each retail partner will also offer bring backs of two of the original Pump colorways.
Reebok also launched an @Reebok account on twitter where readers can keep up to date with all things PUMP and have a chance to WIN a pair of the VERY limited edition bring backs of the original PUMP shoes. There are less than 700 of these shoes being produced! But they'll be giving away 20 pairs. One pair each day beginning November 1st.
Shiiiit, I'm finna follow right now.

SNEAKER TOKYO : The Past, Present and Future of Sneaker Culture in Tokyo
Tokyo
Issue 1 of "SHOES MASTER" is published
Fast forward to 2009 and to celebrate the 5th Anniversary and their 10th Issue (SHOES MASTER is published twice a year) they have released a compilation book, containing the best and most talked about articles and interviews from the previous SHOES MASTER magazines.
Interviews with Hiroshi Fujiwara (Fragment), Hiroaki Shitano (Whiz), Shigeyuki Kunii (mita) and others are included, as well as features on many brands such as adidas, Converse, Reebok and VANS about what the future holds for the sneaker market.
The major bonus with the book is that it is in Japanese AND English, so sneaker heads from all over the world can enjoy it.
The book finishes with a list of the best and hottest Tokyo Sneaker stores, with a map to help you find them the next time you are in Tokyo.
Here are some scans from the book.
I will type up a transcript of the interview with Hiroshi Fujiwara later this week.
Enjoy.

Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi
Reebok is soon set to reintroduce one of their most popular work out sneakers from the 80's, the Ex-O-Fit.
With the silouette instantly drawing comparisons to the Air Yeezy and TK's signature shoe with Supra, the Ex-O-Fit very well may have paved the way for those designs. However, in my opinion the downside of Ex-O-Fit so far is the colorways. I reckon silver is the only one I'd think twice about. So hopefully more colorways soon (i mean at least black, or use some premium materials) so that they can compete with the likes of the TK and Air Yeezy.
January '09 with a msrp tag of $90, not too bad.

Weekly "Cop Or Not": Footwear
Smash or Pass, Hot or Not, Yay or Nay, Hao Bu Hao…we don’t have a name for this segment yet, but you get the damn point! Me and Jeff picked out 5 interesting kicks that surfaced on the net this past week and round tabled a few of our peeps to give us their opinions on ‘um.
Peep Below.

More Info:HSB
Me: I’m in there. All Day. Anywhere
Jeff: I'm smashing and I'm a let niggas know I'm smashing!
Sewz: Yeah, I'd rock 'em with some black jeans and a simple logo shirt. Just to avoid "doing too much."
Coburn: No way would I ever cop. Gross.
Griddy: …not my cup of tea. Not Coppin.

More Info:Ctothejl
Jeff: I'm not smashin'. They're too much like the 5's. I'm not tryna be on my Syracuse shit. Damn Supras, you finally let me down.
Me: HELL YEAH! I don’t even care that they look like 5s. I’m smahsin’ these. Hard. I’m madd the toes look like Dunks tho.
Joel: Dope sneaker. I rock purple and that green is tough. I skate but never in white sneakers so these are strictly for getting fly, no shredding in these.
Steve-O: I like the color way for these but I hate low top sneakers, so I probably wouldn't buy these.
Jenny B: Definitely no, they look kinda grandma-ish
3C v 2N

More Info:HSB
Jeff: I'm not smashing and I'm gonna be mad @ my manz if he smashed.
Me: Uuuuh, I’m doin it. But only on some grown and sexy vibe. You know, like pea coats and shit.
Steve-O: I like these. They are nice and clean. And they look better than the Jordan 10's.
Pierre: not even close to my style. No cop
Noelle & Ron’nise: these are wacc...they look like somethin' my grandpa would wear. Ron'nise said they look like playboys...I don’t know if that’s the name of the shoe, but she said that’s what her father calls 'em.
2C v 3N

More Info:HSB
Me: I’m Good. These aren’t for me. But I respect the originality.
Jeff: I’m not smashing, too much...but nothing really significant going on.
Coburn: Good use of color ways and interesting laces. A dope pair of sneakers. Coppin.
Griddy: These look kinda hot. I’d consider them.
Steve-O: These are plain wack.... Next!
1C v 3N v a Shakey Choice

More Info: SwaggerDap
Jeff: I might smash just to see what they working with, but it’s either gonna be a big L or I’m making History. High risk.
Me: No Way. Goodnight
Coburn: Too wild and eye catching I can only imagine the price tag. Not copping.
Pierre: Looks like clownwear. No cop
Sewz: These make me wanna barf.
Joel: I don’t even want my chick to rock these. Honestly names don’t mean anything to me. It’s all about design. These look annoying to put on, take off and walk in. If they are for girls I can dig it on some photo shoot moves type stuff, but wearing them is another thing...
Steve-O: These are dope. I'm not sure of whether I would really wear them. But they are def. something dope to have in the stash.
Griddy: These are different. Some Kanye / Pharrell shit. Not for me though. No Cop.
Jenny B: By far my Favorite!! And they’re Louis Vuitton, that’s so hot. In loveeee.
Noelle & Ron’nise: these are out of control...they're horrible. Ron'nise said they leave a bad taste in her mouth. The colors don’t go together everything is out of sync - and to her that’s the ugliest sneaker. There is too much goin' on and it doesn't all go together.
..….. And she said that they're not just hi tops...they're super hi tops (lmao)...and she doesn’t know where the metallic gold strap are comin' from and there are too many of them...maybe if they were low cut they would look better

---End-_
Well…there you have it.
Feel free to add your opinions in the comments!
