HELLZ Fall 2010 - The Rest Is Herstory

For the Fall, Hellz is getting slightly sophisticated, but staying slightly experimental, and always slightly sexy. The collection is entitled "The Rest is Herstory" (you see what they did there? Herstory - Her Story - History)...

Hellz just said "Fuck You!" to color for the entire collection, and still killed it with the black gradient. Stand out pieces to me: Blazer with the ruffled shoulders (2nd pic), and grey zip up sweater/jacket (2nd to last pic). But the entire collection looks really strong, as always.

The lookbook was directed by Misslawn, shot by Brooke Nipar, hair & makeup by Matisse, and modeled by Bianca, Kristen, Lena. Very Well done.

Hellz Bellz Spring ‘10 “Obsessed With You” Collection

Hellz Bellz proudly presents to you their new Spring Collection, “Obsessed with You,” a collection photographed by Brooke Nipar and modeled by Xian. Usually Spring season being bright and colorful, Lani sways away from color and focuses on the unique and simplistic details of each silhouette. This collection, according to the brand’s statement, reflects an obscure view of modern fashion and the obsession that it becomes.

“The Killa, in particular, is a cowl neck tunic given a hint of seductiveness through the use of a subtle zipper detail at the back of the dress. An exciting new take on the traditional blazer is Coat Tailz, which features a circle cut and a unique draped back."

With this new and daring collection, Hellz continues to cross boundaries with a well thought-out design and carefully crafted details as well as demonstrating that fashion may be work to some and it may be a hobby for others, but for popular culture it will forever be an obsession.

I love how Hellz Bellz always sets themselves totally different from the crowd. Instead of making this seasons collection bright and fun, Hellz Bellz decided to take its own pathway and leave its collection to a minimalist feel to it. I'm still feelin' it! The jean vest is absolutely amazing. Hellz Bellz never fails me!

Hellz Bellz x VANS The Hadley & The Sophie

Hellz Bellz and VANS has provided all you HB lovers with two limited edition shoes this February: The Hadley and The Sophie. Both shoes are a reflection of Hellz designer Lanie’s personal style: "tomboy chic and edgy feminine."

“The Hadley is inspired by my love of vintage motorcycle boots with zippers and metal lace eye hooks detailing the black leather high top, The Sophie is an updated saddle shoe that’s been stripped down and built from the ground up with Hellz’s unique design aesthetic: Die cuts, metallic color blocking and buckle strap details.” –Lanie “misslawn” Barcena

Reebok x Hellz Bellz: Ten Steps Ahead of You

Earlier this year, I previously posted the Hellz Bellz collab with Reebok "First Ladies" sneakers. Here's an actual photo of the shoes. It's final, these bad babies are going to be released this Black Friday, November 27th at selected retailers!





Hellz proudly presents the Hellz x Reebok collab shoe. Hellz never fails and continues to grow in the fashion industry collarborating with many of the industries. Feast your eyes (and feet) on their upcoming Reebok mid-top sneaker. With a tightly perforated black leather upper with a fold-down polk-a-dot-lined ankle color, black studded detailing and bright yellow laces (also comes with black). The Top-Down style features a ‘Ladies First” empowering message ” I’m ten steps ahead of you” discreetly printed on the inside. As mentioned on the Hellz Bellz blog, it will releasing very soon and stay posted for they will have more fancy footwork coming along your way. Hellz is currently working on their online shop and is offering a special gift if purchased through Hellz.

Christian Rich x Hellz Bellz - Famous Girl Tee

The brothers Rich have gotten together with Hellz Bellz for a collaboration tee themed on their Famous Girl video.

Hellz Bellz “Cult Classic” Holiday 2009 Collection

Hellz Bellz brings you their Holiday 2009 collection. Lanie, the maker of HB calls it the "Cult Classic" holiday collection. Their inspiration comes from the flims 'Heathers' and 'Cult Classics.' It seeks to personify the seemingly innocent girl with anything, but innocent intentions.

"The collection creates a moody and subtle yet inspiring ambiance through a darker holiday color palette with a sense of mischievousness throughout the collection, as well as a connection to every female’s devious side. New interesting pieces in this collection include; the ‘Villains’ jacket, a unique play on a motorcycle/peacoat with an exaggerated collar, perforated leather sleeves and wool body. Also, the ‘Kiss My…’ shemagh skirt with tie and fringe details.

As always, witty design and intricate detail are a staple for the collection and only help further prove that volatile and sly girls will forever be Cult Classics."
