SwaggerDap Loses to an Indestructible TV

After a semester of abuse (both verbal and physical) and over a decade of use, it was time to throw out my old trusty Zenith TV that had brought me such great entertainment for years. However, since we have to overdo everything, it wasn't enough to just throw the TV out. We were determined to destroy it.
Here is attempt one at the destruction.....

After that miserable failure, we had to bust out the big guns. We brought in the stunt team for this one ...
(Make sure you pay attention at about :30 in too)

I don't even know if Zenith TVs are still made but if they are I highly suggest getting one as a long term investment.

So as you saw, TV 2 - SwaggerDap 0 ... this was one epic and disappointing failure for us, the last option was to throw it off of a canyon but that just would have required too much effort. At least we were able to fuck up a microwave, throw a couch out of a window and shatter a bowl in the process, so it was all worth it.

CLOT x Levis kzKLOT Gold Stitch Denim

Already having some of the most sought after denim out, CLOT and Levi are collaborating once again for a new pair of gold stitched kzKLOT denim.



The detail on the denim is amazing as the 505 cut jeans feature gold rivets, and gold stitched denim. What this means is that the inside of the denim is actually gold color so when the denim rips or wears the gold threads will come through. On the pre-made tears there is the signature CLOT silk in gold to make it pop even more.

These most likely will only be available at Juice HK, but make sure you check your favorite reseller soon. They release on May 15th, so people are most likely already in line in Causeway.

CLOT Home Mats

Expanding into the realm of home goods, just as Bape and Original Fake before them, CLOT will soon be releasing a series of colorful home mats.



Keeping the colorways full of a range of colors in each mat, these should easily fit in any room, as one of them is bound to complement and be a popping piece.


Available at Juice HK shortly, there is no word as to if these will hit the CLOT web store.

Android Homme Footwear- s/s 2009

While we see new tee shirt and clothing lines pop up everyday more or less, it is way more rare to see a new footwear line come up. Well Android Homme is a new line out of LA that is doing some serious things with their futuristic space themed sneakers.

Using really interesting silhouettes, sticking with mostly gray-scale, and using materials and textures to make the sneakers pop, Android does a really good job of giving the luxury footwear look that blurs the line between sneaker and shoe. The Jet Pack also features a really nice pocket on the sides of each sneaker with a zip close.

adidas Original x Fafi Honey Mid Collab

Here’s Adidas and Fafi’s third collab! Like many of you out there, I’m a huge Fafi fan too! Fafi managed all the graphics and designed all the pieces with her team. Her design is inspired by her own Parisian dressing and her trips all around the world. This here is the adidas Original x Fafi Honey Mid teaser, which will be released later on this year in October. Today, she can only give us an early look at the sneaker from the collection. More news on this project will be revealed soon! The mid top sneaker comes in a white leather colorway with metallic accents and Fafi graphics across all side-panels. There will be five pairs of sneakers for each collection and a new style of Adidas clothing all debuting soon.

Supreme s/s 2009 - 5 Panel Caps & Strap Back

While Supreme puts out plenty of quality goods every year, I would argue that their head wear is by far the best of the collection and often the most successful. Well as always they are coming with some quality 5 panel caps and a strap back cap for the Summer 2009.





The colors on the 5 Panels are perfectly faded and vibrant for the Summer season, while the strap back caps use the staple Supreme colorways. The entire collection will soon be available at Supreme stores worldwide and can be seen here.

Nooka X Spongebob SquareWatch

For its 10 year anniversary (yes, 10 years of SpongeBob!), Nooka has teamed up with Mr. Squarepants for some nice Bikini Bottom inspired watches.



A huge SpongeBob fan and I've been eying some yellow watches for the summer so this watch could be perfect. Look for this available for preorder in June and then in Nooka accounts mid summer.

The Graduation Hiatus

First I would like to give a quick apology to everyone who reads the blog for the short leave of absence that I have taken from posting. Don't worry, nothing is wrong and I'll be back posting on the regular tomorrow.
Second I would like to say congratulations to all of the graduates of Syracuse University in the class of 2009. And if you don't already know, that is the reason that I haven't been able to post, Graduation baby!

The Carrier Dome was rather packed as the Vice President happened to be our speaker.

We were all captivated, touched, motivated ...... and well .... Tweeting most of the time to be honest.


I'll be organizing more pics from the graduation to throw up here but for now I just wanted to let everyone know the deal. We back in here for fashion, art, and life, apologies again for the few days off.
