Junya Wantanabe for Comme des Garçon MAN - s/s 2010 Levi's

One of my favorite lines, MAN by Junya Wantanabe for Comme des Garçon, is always using patchwork in the most interesting ways. This season the denim is actually slightly more subtle then we are used to seeing, but the details are still great and the patchwork is still alive...


The back pockets have the most obvious treatment with big corduroy detail in a nice wheat color.

Not only the cuffs, but the entire inside of the jeans are lined with a colored plaid. Perfect for the Spring and rolling up the ankles.

Lastly there is a dark brown corduroy used around the waist that almost simulates the look of a belt.


These are just releasing for Spring '10 so go check out your local Comme des Garçon shop or account to check them out in person. The only downside is that the MAN line has a way of hurting pockets just as well as it makes them. (sorry I had to)

CLOT x Levis kzKLOT Gold Stitch Denim

Already having some of the most sought after denim out, CLOT and Levi are collaborating once again for a new pair of gold stitched kzKLOT denim.



The detail on the denim is amazing as the 505 cut jeans feature gold rivets, and gold stitched denim. What this means is that the inside of the denim is actually gold color so when the denim rips or wears the gold threads will come through. On the pre-made tears there is the signature CLOT silk in gold to make it pop even more.

These most likely will only be available at Juice HK, but make sure you check your favorite reseller soon. They release on May 15th, so people are most likely already in line in Causeway.

CLS x Levi "Black DIA"

Levi have teamed up with CLS this time to produce 2 pieces later this year, entitled "Black DIA". DIA stands for Diamond.

Comprising of a Jacket and pair of jeans, the stand out point of this collab is the metallic fiber used within the denim to create the shiny/streaky effect you can see. They has also used zipper pockets and leather patches.

They will be released via the Honyee store, Levis e-shop and at a new concept shop “CINCH TOKYO” in December

We headed out to Wan Chai yesterday to eat some snake (which was actually pretty good, I thought it tasted a lot like frog... Meezy went with the more conservative chicken comparison). Well afterward we ran into a new FitC victim, so fly we had to ask twice.

Attack of the Killer Red Laces?
