Honestly Adidas rarely does it for me, but on there are surely those occasions where they can impress, such as with these Stan Smith II's that are done in a simple grey jersey material along with just the perfect amount of blue to accent it all... (So curious if that denim on the back is treated so it wont bleed)
No doubt these are simple, clean, and have an interesting enough material to turn a few heads (even though you might have to be sure to carry around some Tide-to-go when you rock them). However I think a small part of me just likes them so much cause they remind me of the impossible to get pair of colette x Reebok Pumps, which I lusted after pretty hard.
Either way they will be hitting Adidas Originals accounts soon, and for a pretty modest price too, so might be worth checking out.

Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott - Teddy Bear Sneakers
I feel like a broken record here, but Jeremy Scott for Adidas Originals has once again stepped up the level of craziness creativity. For Spring '11 we will get some Teddy Bear Sneakers... yea, just beyond awesomely nuts...
Sure they might not be the most wearable/ versatile sneakers out there (especially for guys), but if I ever get invited to a Playboy pajama party, I know exactly what I'm wearing! My only critique is that the bear looks quite a bit like Snuggles, but it's still the cutest thing I've seen all day... well aside from this.
I need to be on whatever this man is taking during his design process. Eternal inspiration. Adidas just keeps winning by giving these fantastic designers the resources and platform to make these collections under them. I can't wait to see what Stella Mcartney has in store for England and the Olympics.

Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott - JS Wings 2.0
Putting a slight twist on the OG JS Wings, Jeremy Scott is back with more amazing footwear for Adidas Originals. The JS Wings 2.0...
These are simply the bee's knees. And I'm really digging the NY state license plate inspired pair too. Does this guy ever run out of ideas!??
Set to release on August 10th at the usual Adidas Original accounts.

Adidas Originals - Star Wars Cantina Commercial | Video
Adidas Originals took Star Wars and a bunch of pop culture icons and put them in a blender or something for this one. Let me get you caught up...
Setting: a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away
Cast: Daft Punk, Han Solo, Snoop Dogg, David Beckham, Jay Baruchel, Noel Gallagher, Ciara, DJ Neil Armstrong, random intergalactic beings
Plot: Shenanigans occur while that diverse cast is all trying to watch the 2010 Fifa World Cup together. (so maybe it isn't set a 'long time ago' after all)
Um, yea just watch...
The old and new footage was put together really well for this. Entertaining even with no plot what so ever, but kind of wish they did more with this.
Those 1/2 white 1/2 gold kicks that Jay Baruchel was rocking look really dope though.
Oh Snoop with a light saber ftw!

Fafi for adidas Original Spring/Summer 2010
Fafi for adidas Original is hitting it off again for this Spring/Summer 2010 collection. This collab collection includes leather jacket, skirt, tees, one-piece jumpsuit, vest, and sneakers.
"Unlike last collaborations with Adidas, I really wanted to be involved in graphic design as well as styling, all the pieces are inspired by my own closet, stuff I founded in vintage stores or during my trips. This is a very colorful spring/summer 2010 collection to celebrate the end of a cold winter, good times with friends, get noticed at airports and music festivals!" -Fafi

I can say I really like the collection, but it somewhat throws me off. I'm definitely loving the leather jacket, the vest, and the suitcase. I think I'll pass on the others such as the sneakers and the one-piece jumpsuit. But we can all agree that this is an amazing collab. Yes, it is.

Originals by Kazuki - Leopard Adidas Campus
One of the more interesting things that we've seen in the Adidas Originals by Kazuki collection is how he's been able to use the leopard print and in my opinion not make it look tacky. Well this most recent release is an Adidas Campus sneaker that is done entirely in leopard print...
I WANT to say that I would rock these but I would need to try them on 1st, maybe with some khakis these could be amazing.
Available now at colette

Adidas Originals by Maharishi - Stan Smith
Time to add Maharishi to the laundry list of amazing brands that have teamed up with Adidas Originals over the past year. While it's not a full line collaboration, they have come with a really nice crossover Maharishi x Adidas Stan Smith.
Straying a little from their usual military inspired look, this Stan Smith is full blue canvas with some nice white Maharishi embroidery as a perfect subtle accent.
Look for these at Adidas Originals stores in the coming months.

Adidas Originals by Nom De Guerre
In yet another great choice, Adidas Originals is teaming up with Nom De Guerre for a really cool zip up pair of Forum Hi's.
I think that these are absolutely dope. Kind of wish they weren't as bulky, especially in the back, but either way these are really nice shoes and they win for making it a laced on zip up front area.
Not trying to start any arguments here but Adidas is seriously running shit right now. For a mega-brand, their collaborations, innovation, and quality just keeps coming at us, each being more impressive than the next. I love the hunger and direction that they are going with the Adidas Original project as of late.

Adidas x MCC - "My Colorful Life" Videos
For their Adicolor "My Colorful Life" exhibition in Beijing, Adidas Originals teamed up with a few local companies to get creative and fun with the project. One of them, MCC, put out a bunch of really cool promo videos featuring this small statue character Fatko in random real life situation which are all pretty funny.
This next video is one of the few that doesn't use humor, but I thought that it was really well done...
The music in all of them is really fitting, whoever put these all together did a really good job.
I didn't want to post them all, but there are a total of 15 videos, all under 2 minutes long and with a similar theme, which you can check out here.
Also check out pictures from the Adicolor "My Colorful Life" exhibit here.

Adidas Originals by Kazuki (Neighborhood) a/w 2009
I brought you the very 1st look at this Adidas Originals by Kazuki Kuraishi (of Neighborhood) not too long ago and now there are already product shots of a select few items.
While Kazuki has taken part in Fragment, W)Taps, Bape, and Silly Thing, his creativity behind this line seems to gravitate towards the work he as done for Neighborhood. Because of that, I have a feeling that people are going to go nuts for this line.
Everything looks really nice and clean but the only 2 "must haves" for me personally are the first two pics. The polka dot rain jacket with leopard print down the side and the seamless waterproof "flannel shirt" jacket. I will be acquiring those.
This is out of the fall line up so expect this stuff to start releasing in August piece by piece.

Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals - 3 Tongue Sneaker
The shoe that definitely got the most buzz when we previewed the second coming of Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals, was the neon highlighter 3 tongued Altitude. well now that the release in only a month or 2 away we finally get to see some better pics...
All of the sneakers that Jeremy Scott has done for Adidas Originals have been eye catching and amazing in their own way and he obviously doesn't plan on stopping. Some people are hating hard on these but I think they are a must cop, as long as you know how to wear them. And the obnoxious neon color only adds to the essence of the shoe.
Look for these at Adidas Originals stores in late July to August.
Also check out what else is in store from Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals here.

Adidas Originals by Neighborhood (Video Preview)
With some huge names like Jeremy Scott and Ransom already having done an Adidas Originals collection, there will now be an Adidas Originals collection by Neighborhood for the Fall 2009 season.
Brand names and hype aside, I just think that this collection is amazingly clean and well done. Also love what they've done combining the Adidas and NBHD logos. I'm not really sold on the footwear at all but the clothes, namely the outerwear, all looks great and I'm sure will fly out of the store. I NEED that polka dotted wind breaker with the leopard print accent down the sides, really nice looking.
When better pictures or look books surface I will surely put them up on the blog, but I was excited enough to just show this video for now.
