Pickups: Nike x Fragment ACG Zoom Meriweather TZ

Winter time pickups from the old Nike brethren, it's the Nike x Fragment Zoom Meriweather TZ in silver/grey/obsidian ...

The suede on these is rather sexy, and for a more bulky winter shoe they are DAMN comfortable! Also comes in a deep navy which is super clean as well. Being a TZ release there are only a handful of places to grab these around the globe, some of which being 21 Mercer in NYC, Bodega in Boston, and UNDFTD in LA.

Bape, Cool Cats, Neighborhood, and Stussy x Fragment Charity Tees for Japan

As expected, many fashion brands are doing their part to help Japan by releasing special products to raise both awareness and money. Here are a few different tees that caught my eye over the past few days, from the likes of Bape, Cool Cats, Neighborhood, Stussy and Fragment...

Since it's such a short turnaround to make a shirt, these are only available online for now as a pre-order. Here are the links to cop yours and show love for Japan:

Bape - Baby Milo Rescue Rebuild (available online for Japanese residents on for now)
Cool Cats - Japan We Love U So (pre-order, will ship within 3 weeks)
Neighborhood - You Are Not Alone (only available at select Neighborhood physical accounts & stores)
Stussy x Fragment - One World, One Love, One Heart (pre-order to ship soon)

Fragment Design - Mismate Nike Dunk Hi

Fragment is back at it with Nike, this time for two pairs of mismate Dunk Hi's...

I actualy really like both pairs, the first is just two of the most classic Dunk colorways, so there is no going wrong with that, even as a mismate. The pink and yellow is also a pretty crazy combination, not as subtle, but absolutely ridiculous.

No release news on these, but expect some to come in the near future.

Fragment Denim Teaser

Hiroshi didn't give much info at all on these babies, but here's a sweet little teaser pic of some upcoming Fragment denim...

They looked to be cropped relatively high, decently destroyed, and nicely marked with the Fragment logo in an iridescent style.

The strap is available in black and white, with the white version only available to a limited number of subscribers. Both have the Fragment Design logo printed on the back.

I have to say that this is probably the most nicely presented free gift I have ever received here from a magazine.

NSW x Fragment - All Court Low (Black and White)

NSW has brought back the All Court in a strong way this season with all sorts of nice colors in canvas and suede. However the most sought after All Courts continue to be the swoosh-less ones done by Fragment. The red and navy that came out a couple of weeks ago were gone in the blink of an eye, and I would expect nothing different here...

EDIT: Added Pics.... and it seems it'll be a Tier 0.

Release is set for tomorrow in Japan, sadly these will only be available at the NSW annex in Head Porter +, Shubuya. However 21 Mercer always seems to get their hands on Japanese exclusives so keep a look out there as well.

How many of your Nikes have no swoosh?

FCRB - s/s 2010 Collection

Everyone's favorite imaginary football club, FCRB (Football Club Real Bristol), is set to release a new collection of kits, warm up gear, and accessories for the Spring/ Summer 2010 season. And with the World Cup being held in Africa this year, designer Hirofumi Kiyonaga decided to take inspiration from the safari for a good chunk of the line...

While the FCRB collection is usually tight and well done, this season is far and away my favorite. I love the contrast that they continue to mesh between sport and fashion, with animal prints and camo on warm up gear and kits. Can't wait to see these in person at 21 Mercer. Also, apparently this will be the last time the FCRB Swoosh will be used so I have a feeling that those items will be a hot commodity.

This is just a sample of the collection, but you can view it all on the FCRB site, where their lookbook is displayed really well.

And if you aren't familiar with FCRB, it is the brainchild of Sophnet and Nike to sponsor an imaginary football club. This gave the people at Sophnet a chance to run with fashion forward athletic gear. FCRB has a good following in Japan (aside from Nike employees, I've only seen Japanese tourists in the store wearing it) and only sees a US release at Nike's 21 Mercer St. store.

Nike SFB | Purple Fragment TZ

One of the great additions to the Nike lineup this year, the SFB, is now getting the Hiroshi Fujiwara Fragment treatment...

The majority of the shoe is a nice deep anthracite suede, white the upper is a really nice varsity purple Kevlar mesh. Since it's a Tier Zero AND a Hiroshi Fujiwara product there is little chance that it will make its way stateside, but I got lucky and found some Fragment stuff at NSW NYC today so you never know.

Fragment x Rolex by Bamford Watches

Fragment has hooked up with luxury watch customizer Bamford Watch Department to make a custom Rolex Explorer...

Not really even a fan of watches but this really caught my eye. The custom watches on the Bamford site run over $20,000 so I can only image what the price tag on these Fragment ones will be.

Due out by the end of the year.

Nike Terminator Hi by Fragment Design

Hiroshi Fujiwara continues his uber exclusive collabs with NSW, this time with an inverted colorway of his last Nike Terminator Hi.

NOISE on the heel just like the last Terminator and the Tees that HF recently did for NSW Japan. I don't own any terminators but I saw a great pair with the metal studs on the heel, where the silver is above, and I instantly wanted to get a pair. And I actually thought these were Nike BIGs at 1st because of the huge text.

No release date but I would assume, like always with Fujuwara products, these will only see a Japan release. (-_-)

Converse x Fragment Design Returns

After the highly successful launch of the original Converse x Fragment Design collaboration, we will be seeing a new colour-way released this year.

As featured in Hiroshi Fujiwara's book "Personal Effects", a Navy version will be heading to US stores sometime this year.

No news yet as to whether there will be both Hi and Ox versions available, as the only picture so far shows just the Ox version.
