For the Fall 2009, Y-3 is adding some color to the usual grayscale Hayworth Mid II by releasing a red and blue pair along with the staple black variation.
The Y-3 Hayworth is one of the most comfortable shoes I own, and I'm really liking these new solid colors. However I still think I like the all black best as it's interesting to see it with the black midsole and no color touches at all.
These will be available in Y-3 stores and accounts next season.

Y-3 Hayworth Mid II - s/s '09
For the upcoming season, Y-3 will be releasing the Hayworth mid once again in the most simple of colors.
The black pair looks very similar to last year's, however this new one is a bit glossier as well as having an entirely white midsole this time around. The white also looks very clean and is a nice addition to the Hayworth family.
I'm a huge advocate for the Hayworth, and Y-3 footwear in general. The designs are always so sleek and complement almost anything as they can be dressed up or down. Plus, I have the black Hayworths from last year and they are the most comfortable shoe I own. Yohji Yamamoto is so good at matching function and form to the perfect and simple medium.
The new Hayworth II Mids can be found on the Y-3 store online or through Y-3 stores and accounts very soon.

Adventures In NYC: It's Cold
Yea the fact that it's cold really has nothing to do with the contents of these pictures actually, besides that fact that it's the reason I only took a couple all day. So although there's only a few, here are my pics from yesterday in the city. Nice view of the Chrysler building, seemed to be the only thing getting sun.
The wrapped LV building really pops out in the dreary NY streets, pictures don't do it justice.
Then final stop Y-3 in the middle of nowhere in west village.
Yeeeeeep, told you it was a weak day for pictures. But I did manage to grab some Chipotle and sat next to Patrice O'Neil there which was pretty funny. Then waited in line for a Wii Fit for like and hour and a half at Nintendo World which wasn't that bad except for this Mario taunting people in the corner the whole time.
Well stay warm people and have a Happy Holiday.

Passport on Pivot
I'm heading out to Japan for the next week to see some sights, do some serious shopping, and maybe even try some poisonous puffer fish. Who knows?
So unless I can find an amazing internet cafe, the blogging will be taken over by Meezy for the time being. (I know I know I'm scared too, but there's just no other choice) But keep checking in, there might even be an update from Japan if possible.

Y-3 Footwear a/w 2008
Y-3 always come strong with the footwear and this season is no exception.
As always, a predominantly black collecting using some cool materials and designs. The boots especially look crazy to me, but I'm not sold on those Michael Jackson looking trainers.
Visit your local Y-3 store and select y-3 accounts to purchase
