Teriyaki Boyz 2009 Mix CD & DVD

The Teriyaki Boyz will soon be dropping a mix CD (mixtape?) along with a DVD of this year's Do You Like Japan? Tour...



I'm not sure what the mix CD entails exactly but hopefully we'll get some new music and not just blended Nigo beats. Not that there's anything wrong with Nigo beats.

Winter 2009, so clearly this will be dropping soon.

Full Size Teriyaki Boyz Bape Model

Im sure you have all seen the models created by Nigo for the Teriyaki Boyz Serious Japanese album cover?

If not then check them out HERE

Well, it now looks like Nigo is creating full sized version of the model.



No word on where it will be used as of yet, Its going to look awesome though.

Teriyaki Boyz - Serious Japanese Album Cover

On 1st look, the new Teriyaki Boyz Serious Japanese album cover looks to be a sea of photoshopped men completely 'Baped out' with full zipped shark parkas on.



But with some behind the scenes pics we can see that it's not PS at all, Nigo actually produced a whole mess of vinyl Teriyaki Boyz to add some authenticity to the shoot.
(Yes I'm just as shocked as you that Nigo still has hair)

Sure it would have been cooler with REAL people in fully zipped sharks but this is a pretty interesting alternative, which might result in new Bape toys available to us soon? Guess we'll wait and see what the album has in store.

Bape Summer '08 Releases

Bape's summer products are finally hitting shelves, and as always with the the Japanese line it's a huge hit or miss piece by piece.

Here are just a few pics ...







The patchwork button down is well...scary. Mixing patterns, colors and fabrics, and pockets that just shouldn't be together. It's so ugly that I want it.
The tees look solid as always, classic Bape designs and graphics.
Low top 88s are introduced, which look just as nice as the highs with another nice long tongue.
A surprising collaboration with the MLB and New Era brings some Yankee and Dodger fitteds in full camo colors.
There is a huge Teryaki Boyz collab this season with tees, hats, and the glasses shows, which also come in white.
Oh and lets not forget the Bape water shoes. Gotta stay fly at the beach!


Most of the new stuff released on the 1st in Japan so be on the look out any day now for it to drop in NY, LA, London shops.

Bape Heads Show Hong Kong

Just watch the commercial.....

Show should be amazing. Kanye, N*E*R*D, Nigo, Teryaki Boyz all performing.
All i can say is that I'm sad. If it was in Japan, ok. But it's in Hong Kong! where we out to in the fall! What a damn tease.
