This PM-LIVE Trailer takes a Look at some of the Footage we have gathered dealing with everyone's love to hate artist Kanye West. Most of the quick Trailer shows his affiliates (Clipse, Common, Big Sean) talking exclusively about everything from Kanye's inspiration, Air Yeezy's vs Jordan's Comparison, as well as a comparison between him and the late great producer J Dilla.

New Air Yeezy Colorway - Black & Fire Red

Some images of an unreleased Air Yeezy colorway have surfaced from the opening of the new Nike TPE 6453 Gallery in Taipei. While people are excited about this new colorway, I've actually been waiting on it the whole time as it closely resembles the pair that was seen as the 1st of many Air Yeezy sighting during the Glow in the Dark Tour.




Changing the navy blue to black is the only real change in the shoe as the red midsole and patent leather strap remain. This is the only version that I would actually camp for... well and maybe the black on black Grammy editions too if they ever release too.

No word on this being an official release yet but seeing as how it's in a Nike gallery it would seem there is some hope.

Kanye & Crew on Southpark: They Love Fishsticks

In last night's episode of South Park, Kanye and company ... well mostly just Kanye I guess, was the main joke of the entire show.

Taking STRAIGHT from the outfits from fashion week in Paris not to long ago, these characters were drawn pretty damn close to exact. Not much questioning who is who as (left to right) Taz Arnold, Fonsworth Bentley, Kanye West, Don C, and Chris Julian all appear in the episode as one bad-ass posse.

If you don't have 22 minutes to spare, the episode revolves around the joke "Do you like fishdicks (fishsticks)? ... Do you like to put fishdicks in your mouth? .... Then you're a gay fish!" ... a joke which in the episode Kanye just doesn't get and really wants to understand how that makes him a gay fish. He later kills Carlos Mencia and goes after Cartman and Jimmy, only to later accept that he may just be a gay fish and should accept it (as you can see in the last screen shot).

Nike Air Yeezy Release Date #1

Out of the 3 colorways of the Nike Air Yeezy the 1st release will be the Zen Grey/Light Charcoal set to drop April 4th.

As you probably would have guessed, being associated with Kanye, these will be extremely limited to certain Quickstrike and Tier 0 Nike accounts. For example Leaders 1354 of Chicago is already letting their customers know the business so they can prepare for the camp. So unless you already got them in the mail for free and have it like that, start checking if any of your local spots are getting these babies.

Next colorway will be the Black and Pink for the 1st week of May then the Net colorway for the 1st week of June. So if you miss on these keep saving up for those as the retail is will be $215.

*EDIT*
In NYC, in addition to the 21 Mercer store, The House Of Hoops in Harlem, and both the 34th street locations of Footlocker and Footaction will now be getting the Yeezy.

The Kanye Mullet

There's been tons of buzz about this mullet that Kanye apparently rocked for his Inaugural Ball performance. After hearing about it on a bus and checking the internet quickly in doubt, I sort of figured that it was all a joke.

Well...... I was wrong.....




Yea this is probably the 1st and last post I'll ever throw up on a mullet but this just had me dying, and I think it's because the dude actually pulls it off. He went full on 80's on everyone, looking like The Wedding Singer, and I won't even front it's not a bad look. Not saying I wanna see 'em come in style or anything tho.

Remember people. Business in the front, party in the back.

Do I blog way too much about Kanye and Pharrell related matters? most likely. But they seem to be everywhere, and what can I say, they are some fly dudes.

Don't know why but I really want one of those Dee and Ricky Lego pins. Seen a one or two around SoHo and it looks awkwardly tough. Better get one before that becomes a trend now that Kanye is rocking one.

Kanye Live at the Grammys 2008

This is Kanye's performance at the Grammy's just a few hours ago. He performs Stronger backed by Daft Punk followed by an emotional Hey Mama tribute.



Fashion wise, the light up glasses are crazy (Glow In The Dark Tour foreshadowing? can't wait) and the Ato Matsumotos which continue to impress me, seriously gotta grab those one day ....
