We all got a quick look at it when Malice was rocking it in the Popeye's video, and now the Play Cloths x Triple Fat Goose jacket is almost set to drop...




Not exactly my steez, but this is a nice collab for Play Cloths and I know a lot of people are really excited about it.

Kaws x Clipse Complex Cover

Complex does covers well, and this month they've gotten Kaws and Clipse together for another cartoon style cover...



Kinda feeling like Kaws needs to stop overextending himself but this cover turned out well, and I'm really happy that the brothers Thorton got their very own issue. Can't wait for the casket to drop.

This will be on stands October 6th.

Play Cloths a/w 2009 Collection

Play Cloths is just dropping their Autumn/ Winter 2009 collection and things continue to look good for the brothers Thorton.









Sticking to their clean designs and colorways, I continue to be impressed with Play Cloths. The crew neck with pockets and the button down are especially nice, but the entire season looks like it will impress.

Look for these at Play Cloths accounts in the coming weeks as Fall lines continue to drop.

The Clipse ft Pharrell - I'm Good (Music Video)

Here is the official video to I'm Good, the 2nd single off of the upcoming 3rd Clipse album, Till the Casket Drops.

Not the most exciting or high budget of videos but fits the song, and is perfect for the Summer. Can't wait for Till the Casket Drops to .... well drop. The brothers Thornton are actually going to branch out for production and features beyond Star Trak. Rumored that Cam is even on a track, yes I'm very intrigued also.

Play Cloths - Summer 2009 Launch

Play Cloths is releasing their second complete season with a brand new Summer 2009 line that will be dropping today, June 19th, at noon.




So far we've seen some nice new graphics and a really nice ostrich skin print (cause I'd imagine it isn't real ostrich skin) leather bag, which there is a little teaser image for in the above flyer.

So make sure you head over to the Play Cloths online shop at 12 noon today for the official drop.

The collection will also be hitting Play Cloths accounts shortly.

Clipse x Kanye x Kaws - Kind of a Big Deal

The 1st single, "Kind of a Big Deal," from the next Clipse album will be releasing tomorrow (4/20) on the Play Cloths blog.

As you can see the song features Kanye West and the artwork for the single was done by Kaws.

Releasing at noon on 4/20 the single will be available 1st on the Play Cloths blog. Now we can only hope that some Play Cloths x Kaws products come out of this.

Play Cloths Spring 2009 Collection

In just a few days Play Cloths will be releasing their Spring 2009 collection.









This 2nd full season looks promising as they got more of a complete line out and not just the staple branded tee, hoody, fitted combos. I'm really liking the button ups, 5 panel hat, and can't wait to see what the cardigan will look like. They surprisingly went with relatively neutral color tones which is cool to see that they aren't just going to follow the Ice Cream look.

Play Cloths Launch @ Commonwealth, Nov 14th

The long delayed and highly anticipated release of The Clipse official clothing line is finally here. Play Cloths will be launching this cmming Friday, the 14th at Commonwealth in VA.



Here's a quick look at some of what's to come...







Even though many people are already doubting the brand, I'm a big fan of the simple logo and identity. Can't wait to see what's in store.
Just from the looks of the packaging it looks like they are serious about the brand and making a statement. Even if there are only a few designs to begin with which are logo heavy, I'll just consider it BBC season 0 which was essentially the same thing and look at them now.
They'll be starting with tees, fitteds, crew necks, denim, varsity jacket, and word is that there will be more.

So if you are out in VA or nearby I highly suggest you check out the release party, should be tons of good music, live performances, good people, and plus you get to check out the new line. Wish I could be there.

Yessir,
Out of the underrated Kardinal Offishal, Obie Trice and Pharaoh Monch sound-alike squad, T-Dot's own is probably the most underrated of them all. Probably because we judge Canadians so poorly out here. Regardless, this might change now that he's signed to Akon. Peep this track below and judge for yourself.

I believe he holds it down well as usual. And if my ears aren't deceiving me, both Clipse are present on the track with fresh lyrics...this is not just a remash of old Pusha-T vocals.
