Stumbled upon this great artist profile of Futura 2000, in which he goes pretty far back to his start as an NYC graffiti artist as a kid, and the general progression of his work and reach. Also talks of where his obsession with aliens came from, and how that developed into his famous point men characters. Then wraps up with a solid few minutes discussing his addiction to gaming...
I feel like a broken record for just saying this about the Ambush interview, but it is just always great to get into the minds and humble origins of these legendary artists and creators.
If you are somehow unfamiliar with Futura 2000, he started as a NYC graffiti artist but has grown to be one of the most respected in his field, having done multiple works for the likes of Nike, Bape, his own apparel label (Futura Laboratories), music artwork for UNKLE and The Clash, and tons more.
