Keeping up with Kaws once again, we take a look into some of what Original Fake has in store for this Spring...















I've definitely pretty much ignored Original Fake for a year or so as they seemed to be putting out the same old cut & sewn pieces season after season. However this year I am pleasantly surprised to see their offering is slightly different and pretty damn clean. I only posted a few highlights, but check out the the entire collection of cut & sewn and tees here.

Original Fake Golden Week Exclusive Collaborations

Yesterday I posted the exclusive news about the Golden Week NBHD x OF collab.

Well, it turns out that there are actually several collabs going ahead during that period to celebrate Original Fake's 4th anniversary.

Along with the NBHD one there is also a Bape and an Undercover collaboration.

Neighborhood x Original Fake Golden Week Exclusive T-shirt

I got a chance to have a look at the new NBHD x Original Fake Golden Week exclusive t-shirt this week.

Unfortunately I was not able to take pictures but can tell you that there are 2 designs. The first has neighborhood written across the chest with a Kaws "bendy" design wrapped around it. The T will be available in black with the bendy in lime green and white with the bendy in pink. The second design sports NHOF lettering set in a Kaws design.

Due for release on the 3rd May which is during Golden Week here in Japan. Golden Week is one of the busiest periods in Japan, with most Japanese people going on vacation during this time. There are also lots of sales.

Hopefully I will be picking up one of the Ts on launch so will have pics then.

OriginalFake x Medicom Dissected Companion Keyholder

The latest of the key holder range from OriginalFake was released in Japan today.

3 colour-ways are available, all from the Dissected Companion series that has always been very popular.



Each key chain retails at ¥1,050

In their second drop from the W.D.W.Y.F.W.collection, we get a little surprise from Neighborhood in the form of a Kaws collab tee.




Classic NBHD imagery and classic Kaws makes for a simply dope shirt. I want.

Undercover x Kaws Bear Companion

Undercover and Kaws have gotten together to release this Bear Companion figure.

Out on the 29th August, the figures retail for ¥12,800 and will be available from all Undercover stores and Isetan, Shinjuku.

2 colours will be available with each figure featuring the Undercover teddy bear carrying a Kaws companion.

Original Fake W Collar Shirt

The new season of Original Fake gear is filtering into store, with these "W Collar" shirts being amongst the first items.

They come with 2 collars (W is often used to express the word Double in Japan ie: W-taps, W-impact") with the underneath collar sporting the Chomper design.






Available in beige, grey and indigo and are retailing at ¥19,000

Original Fake A/W 2009 Lookbook

With previews always popping up on the site, Kaws and Original Fake now show us a preview of the 2009 Autumn/Winter line. In true Kaws style, the images have his artwork all over them also...








Clean as always, that 1st jacket along with the chomper collared shirt look great. I would also like to get my hands on some of those X socks as long as they don't cost more than the shoes that they're going in.

The collection is arriving at Original Fake accounts now.

Original Fake x Starks "Chomper Laces"

Original Fake has gotten together with the kings of laces over at Starks for some really dope Chomper Laces.



This spread was caught in East Touch Magazine (damn I miss Hong Kong), and it seems that there will be both a blue and red colorway of the instant classic Chomper laces.


Still trying to figure out what kicks these would go best in before I cop, cause they are amazing.I'm thinking something all black or all white, and mayyyybe an all red or all blue respectively.

More Original Fake keyholders have been released in Japan, this time using the Chum model.

They are available in Clear, White, Red, Black and Yellow

Original Fake x Head Porter "Eyes Print" Backpack & Wallet

With are some of the final few releases from the Spring 2009 line, Original Fake has just released a few really nice collaboration items with Head Porter. Here you can see a backpack and wallet from the collection.







Ever since the 1st Visvim shoe to feature the eyes print, I've been loving the hand sketched look. So I've been waiting for this backpack to come out for a while now, even though I most likely can't even afford it. The matching wallet is also a really nice piece.

4 new Original Fake Polos are released today

The first 2 come in white or navy and have the OF Circle Teeth logo in the bottom corner and retail for ￥11,238




The second 2 come in turquoise and black and have the Circle Teeth logo embroidered onto the chest and retail for ￥9,524
