Already in love with their 1st product, The Trash travel bag, I was really excited to hear about a new project TravelTeq had to create the world's greatest carry-on bag. Sounds like quite a statement to make, but when a bag can also function as a chair, sound system, and charger, all while being able to fit in an overhead compartment, that's a statement you're allowed make.
With a super minimal look, this bag doesn't look like it would have any frills, but as you can see, outside of the main luggage compartment there is another pocket that can fit all of the travel necessities. And by just snapping on the seat top and pulling out the wheels which are supported by aluminum bars, this bag easily turns into a chair. Genius, especially thinking of the tons of train/ subway/ plane terminals and stations that have lines that last forever and no seats to be found. Then there is finally the option to add a sound system (with AC power to charge phones) which is integrated into the bag.
More companies need to invest in amazing industrial designers and realize that you should give people what they don't even realize they need. TravelTeq is doing things right and not letting people settle for what they're used to. Love the inovation and ergonomics of their work.

TravelTeq - "Trash" Leather Travel Bag
As someone who travel's a lot, I adore bags with millions of pockets and compartments so that I can safely stash everything from my computer and DS to my boarding pass and gum, without losing anything in a mess. Well it seems like TravelTeq took every little aspect of travel into consideration when they designed their very 1st travel bag, the "Trash" bag...
Individually hand made in Italy, the bag comes with 2 leather color options (fox and panther) and for the fox, there is the option for red, yellow, or green inner nylon linning. And while it looks like a simple leather bag at 1st glance, the inside has 8 compartments, 3 with zippers, a shock resistant laptop compartment, and ever important cigar holder. The outside has a spot for quick access to business cards, another pocket for shades or boarding passes, and then a leather piece on the back that can attach to a trolley luggage handle. Genius!
I'm seriously in love with this bag (minus the name. "Trash" just isn't appealing here), and if I had a lucrative job I'd be all over it since the price tag is just a little steep at about $500USD.
You can grab these awesome bags now, at the TravelTeq online shop.

Airport, Clear Port
Random news of the week: I'm heading to Austria for the next 10 days.
Yea not exactly the 1st place I would choose to travel but my mom is there so I'm not going to fight with a free flight. And since some huge corporation pays for my flights I also get hooked up with business class flights and amenities that cost more than I've made all year. Nice eh?
But I plan to keep up the blog content just as I have been, except with way more travel pics probably, so don't fret. Here's a start, live from the lounge as I mooch as much free alcohol as I can before this red eye... "Why do I look perturbed" you say? Oh cause I'm paying 12 bucks for an hour of internet! So you better be enjoying this damn post!!
This backpack has seriously been everywhere and has the pieces of flair to prove it.
What up Durkl!? Ur coming to Europe!
Lastly, the machine that makes it all possible. If this picture played music, it would be that holy entrance music u hear when things get lit up from above.
Alright, time to get on this flight and see what's good with Austria. I'll be sure to keep you all updated with the travels.
