Bape's traveling Pirate Store is finally hitting the streets of London, opening up shop on January 22nd, and offering these special Pirate Shop tees...

The pop-up shop will only be open from the 22-30th, so all you London Bape heads be sure to head out there! It really is worth the trip, and even the long line that it will most likely draw. By the last days of the Pirate Shop in NYC this summer, items were marked like 90% off, which as you know is just unheard of for Bape.

Pirates Invade all Bape Stores

From the 23rd December, all Japan Bape stores will become Pirate stores until the end of the year.
As with the stand alone pirate stores, the shops will contain older Bape goods and factory seconds at up to 40% discount.
Stores that will not take part in this promotion are the Bape Harajuku Store, Bapexclusive Harajuku, Bape Kids, Bape Webstore and the ZoZo Bape Land webstore.
No news yet on whether the International Bape stores are to be included in this promotion though.

A Bathing Ape Pirate Store - Kobe
A Bathing Ape has opened its latest Pirate Store in Kobe's Kode-Sanda outlet mall
SwaggerDap's friend "The Locust" was there to soak up the atmosphere, brave the crazy crowds and grab a few items for himself.
"the store was a madhouse! Clothes threw around in these makeshift chests that acted more like storage units for used clothing donations than displays. People running around the store trying to grab the last size of this item or that item. All treasure bags sold out the first day, only womens sizes and XXS sizes left. City roadstas were put out just today but most survived when I got in. Panda hoodies were in the bins, lots of jackets, keychains, bags and most of all MILO stuff that didn't and still won't sell. Managed to cop some stuff though so. All in all worth the trek to get here, as the outlet mall itself is pretty big as well."

Many thanks for the pics Loc!

Bape Pirate Store NYC
Moving from Japan to NYC, the Bape Pirate store lives on!
From Bape:
"For a limited time only, A Bathing Ape Pirate Store opens in New York City on Thursday, September 3rd to Monday, September 7th.
Archived and factory second items will be available for mens and womens clothing, footwear, and goods at discounted prices. Make sure to come early as items will be limited.
Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!"
Seems like it'll only be open for a few days so I highly doubt that we will see a store or special products that stand up to the Japan Pirate Store, but discounts on Bape are few and far between so I'm sure this will draw quite the crowd.

A Bathing Ape "Pirate Store" Opens in Karuizawa
Bape has just opened a new pop-up "Pirate Store" in Karuizawa, Japan.
Going all out (as Bape always does) they transformed a small retail space into what looks like the inside of a pirate ship straight off of a movie set. Really well done.
You can see that Nigo is putting those life size shark wearing Teriyaki Boyz models to use in a good way. (They are supposed to be like real sharks, get it? outside in the water and then hung upside down by the treasure.... clever)

The store is empty in the pics but has officially opened as a temporary Bape store, bringing some special products along with it.
The Ape Pirate Tee and Bape Treasure Bag are both exclusive to the store as well as Bape Card members.
So if you are lucky enough to be touring the countryside of Japan in the near future, definitely check out the Bape Pirate store, looks quite amazing.
Sure does make that Kidrobot Pirate Store look like doo doo for using aluminum foil. (I joke though. That store was for other reasons)
