Crooks & Castle x Stereo Panda

Crooks & Castles x Stereo Panda are proud to present the new product of their ongoing collaboration. Stereo Panda, a young French label with a strong BMX DNA, was founded by Jimmy Petitet, Lionel Cardoso and Alex Jumelin who is simply a BMX Star: 5 times finalist of X-GAMES, 4 times world amateur champion and has finished in the Top 10 of 2008.

These two brands came together to create an exclusive limited edition Varsity Jacket with help from BKRW Creative Agency. The black and white varsity jacket features the best of both worlds of Crooks & Castles and Stereo Panda with large logo embroidery patches, veal leather sleeves and luxurious satin lining.








The collaborative t-shirt is printed on high quality custom tee-shirts, it uses the very Stereo Panda-ish version of the logo. It is available now exclusively at Stereo Panda online store for a week, followed by an a release at selected retailers.

Also, the Crooks And Castles X Stereo Panda Varsity Jacket will be available on Stereo Panda online store soon.

Crooks & Castles - Holiday 2009

Crooks is all growns up this Holiday season with lots of knit wear, jackets, collars, and plaid all over the place. And oh did I mention that it looks great...









I have the utmost respect for Crooks but the style is personally very hit or miss for me. However this season is very hit. Not sure how the fit is but I love the way everything was styled for this shoot, the button ups looks great, and the colors are perfect. The scarf and hats are definitely stand outs to me that I'll be grabbing for the cold.

The Die

I present .... the death ....... of the cool....

So I got to go out on my friends boat today, which was cool right up until the end. But after we got back I was on the dock, on my phone, missed a step, and all of a sudden .....splash





Damn Crooks shirt is blood stained and my whole fit got the salt water treatment, but luckily somehow in the 1/2 second I was airborn I had the sense to toss my phone and LV shades to a dryer place. Whew.
Gunna be sore this weekend fa sure. Scraped up good.

Crooks is getting together with Vans to create their own Gucci inspired sneaker.





The shoe is on display in the LA Crooks store but no word on a release yet. Rumored to be in store only though.

Crooks & Castles - Summer '08 LookBook

Crooks & Castles as just released their lookbook for summer 2008, here's a quick look at what they've got.









Once again nice bold tee shirts and fitteds, and after their success with the porcelain watch last season they went for some sunglasses this year in a collab with Mosley Tribes.
Heres the black version:


The collection looks to be nice, and I'm sure will sell, but I think it would be nice to see Crooks take some more risks in their designs now they theyre established. They seem to rely a lot on their staple designs which are all somewhat ripped from luxury brands anyways. Oh well, guess you can't complain with success. and you also Can't Stop the Crooks.
