Bapy (reprise) 2010 Released

A few months back we showed you some previews of the 2010 Bapy (reprise) collection, which has just released exclusively through ZOZO.




Bapy really only has a big market in Japan, so makes sense that the collection will only be available online for the time being. Hope to see them make a comeback though, the old Bapy store in Aoyama was dope.

BAPY(reprise) Spring Collection

We first read about the return of the Bapy label, the female only line of A Bathing Ape, in the last A Bathing Ape collection mook.

This time around its going under the name BAPY(reprise) and is due for launch on the 31st march 2010.

Here we now get a look at some of the items that you can pre-order through the BAPY(reprise) ZOZOTOWN online store.

Now under new direction, Bape will be bringing back the Bapy line for the upcoming Spring 2010 season.



Not much information past that for the time being but I am really happy to see this news. The 1st time I visited Japan I was lucky enough to check out the original Bapy store before it, and the line, ceased to be. It was awesome to see an entire store dedicated to women, and not only clothes as there were all sorts or accessories and daily goods. Such a difference from the average Bape store that showcases only a corner or so for the women, the store was a refreshing feminine twist on the brand.

Personally I hope that the store reopens as well, but for now we'll have to wait and see...
