Got a little excited this morning while checking one of my favorite blogs, TheAwardTour.com, as I noticed their new "Friends and Family" collection bunch of tees are about to drop on the 1st, and there is a nicely shot lookbook to get us all in the mood...
Seriously The Award Tour just wins at life. The products, always amazing designs (all impressively hand drawn and screened), and those involved just look like they are having fun. When you have dope product AND a dope lifestyle to sell yourself on, that's a pretty damn good recipe to success. And word to that last tee, "Relax. It's really not that serious. They're just t-shirts". Wish more people in this little industry lived by that credo.
Releasing at 8:30pm on Friday, October 1st, only on the Award Tour shop. And seriously, if you want something act fast. Can almost guarantee everything will be gone come Monday. I'm hoping that all over print tee in the 2nd picture can find it's way to my closet.

The Madbury Club is Coming!
What is The Madbury Club?... I have no idea, and to be honest I don't know if anyone knows. But I am intrigued by the marketing of it so far. They just released this great promo video which features a who's who of the streetwear scene...
On quick glance saw Marcus Troy, Joe La Puma, CtotheJL, Andrew from 3Sixteen, BK Circus, and many more.
As always, great stuff from Phil of The Award Tour, this man is going places. The Madbury Club will "begin its wreaking of havoc" the second week of June.

Phillip T. Annand - Street Talk NY Edition Interview [Video]
I meant to post this the other day but the 9-5 got in the way. Phil is a really smart young'n that started The Award Tour brand and blog, and also blogs for Hypebeast. I urge all upcoming brands - and even the already "successful ones" - to take a minute and hear what this young man had to say...
"Everyone can make a cotton 6oz t-shirt. But what can you put behind that 6 ounces of cotton that's gonna seperate you from someone else?"
Props to Pinboard for sharing this.

The Award Tour - "Born To Run" Summer 2009 Lookbook
Straight outta the Jerz, The Award Tour is back this season with their new Summer collection "Born to Run." Shot by Tone on the Jersey shore, here are some shots from the "Born to Run" lookbook...
While they do their thing each season, for some reason I feel that the dudes over at The Award Tour just love the summer. And honestly the designs just have a great Summer vibe. This season is no exception as the "Born to Run" collection some really great illustrations and colors.
(sidenote: on Twitter it was said that the inspiration "Born to Run" was not actually Bruce Springsteen but rather Canadian rapper K-Os)
Be sure to check out the entire lookbook here.
Also make sure you go and read their blog, as it's one of my favorite daily reads.

The Award Tour a/w 2008 - Private Rebellion Collection
One of my favorite up and comers, The Award Tour, had just released some pics of their upcoming a/w line entitled "Private Rebellion Collection"
Looking really nice this season, the shoot was done by photographer Devin Christopher at Princeton University to try and capture the theme of the line this season.
I'll be checking for that gray zip up for sure!
The Award Tour can be found at selected retailers world wide and online.
Oh and peep The Award Tour blog, one of my faves.

The Award Tour - Summer '08 LookBook
Ever since the 1st Tribe inspired line with the midnight marauders crew neck I've been a fan of The Award Tour. Now they seem to be doing big things with their summer line, as the lookbook has just been released.
Huge inspirations from summer and the late 80s/early 90s seem to drive this summer collection. Be on the lookout, these will drop soon, and for now be sure to check out the full lookbook and photoshoot over at The Award Tour site.
Shouts to my man Lochness on what looks to be a very nice line thise year (and nice GQ pose too man). Its BT2 love.
