The editorial was in collaboration with Dr Martens, styled by Yoon, and shot by Kisimari. The issue should be on newsstands pretty soon, so check out your local Japanese bookstore in the coming weeks.

Ambush Design x Topman Shinjuku Release

To celebrate the opening of Topshop's brand new Topman store in Shinjuku, they have gotten together with Verbal and Yoon of Ambush to create a small but rediculous capsule collection called 'Kings Among Men'...






While there are some more subtle pieces in the collection, you have to know that when you're getting involved with Ambush things are going to get a little crazy. But what better store to exclusively carry this collection than Shinjuku, where these type of outfits are just part of the norm.

The store and collection release is all going down tomorrow (September 16th), where Verbal and Yoon will be DJing in store.

While on a recent trip to London, TMI caught up with Verbal and Yoon to talk all things Ambush. Verbal handles most of the talking, and gets into how Ambush came along, the origins of the POW! piece, his relationship with Nigo, the Bape collab, as well as some of their favorite cities. Take a look...

Through M-FLO, Teriyaki Boyz, and fashion, I've seen endless amounts of pics of Verbal over the past 5 or so years but I think this is the most I've ever heard him talk in an interview. Always good to see more side of artists, and of course always nice to see Yoon.
