DimePiece wants to present a mini collections. Between collections, Laura calls this The Black & White Series. It features different prints and black & white garments. It's produced, but not contained within a set season.

Cassie & DMPC Designs A/W 09 Collection Video

As we all know, John has previously blogged about Cassie and the DimePiece Designs collaboration. Here's a video with their newest collection and collaboration with Cassie. Karmaloop put out this cool little video which covered the collab with Cassie for the Fall/Winter season in accordance with her new single and DimePiece’s new Fall/Winter line, “9 Lives”.

Dimepiece x Cassie - a/w 2009 Lookbook

For the Autumn/ Winter 2009 Lookbook, DimePiece Designs has linked up with Cassie for a great photoshoot displaying their "Nine Lives" collection.








The collection looks very clean and the photos look amazing. That Karl Lagerfeld shirt is great. I would wear it.

"The all black and white collection is a conceptual metaphor for the right to interchange you role in any way you please. The line is expressed by modern pop art-themed prints and t-shirts with the cheekiest and most feminine oh phrases; along with hoodies, sweatshirts, leggings and jophers fabricated with an unusual mix of jersey, mesh and fish net.
Cassie's interchanging and emerging style, both in her appearance and as a music artist was a perfect addition to Nine Lives. DimePiece and Cassue have released a special line of tanks and tees coinciding with the drop of Cassie's new single, Let's Get Crazy."


The line will become available on August 31st.

Singer Cassie whom is signed to Bad Boy Records will be this seasons lookbook model. “Electro Love” is the name of the campaign AND the name of Cassie's new album Electro Love dropping Fall 09′. This includes a line of exclusive Cassie x DimePiece tanks and tees available online September 2009.

DimePiece Designs “Plastic City” Spring 2009 Collection

Ashley Dimes and Laura Marie, brand co-founders and designers of DimePiece just released their Spring/Summer 2009 collection. DMPC Spring collection is called "Plastic City."

“Spring is called “Plastic City”, it's all about Hollywood materialism, a plastic lifestyle, girls consumed with celeb gossip and plastic surgery in Los Angeles.” -Laura Marie and Ashley Dimes.

Their muse was also their nemisis: Barbie, in which they claim to be the "plastic devil." Ashley and Laura based the collection on the enormous physical idealism that hollywood puts on its youth and the youth across the globe. In essence, what they’re trying to say is that you don’t need to ever rely on your appearance for recognition!
