The album is already a couple weeks late, but we finally get to see the album cover for N*E*R*D's Nothing...




Guess an album cover is one step closer to the album releasing, but I've been waiting on this anxiously since May! Fiend status, being that they claim this could very well be their finest work.

Belvedere Vodka followed the brothers Christian Rich around for a day to see what goes on behind the scenes as they made their rounds in Chicago with N*E*R*D...

Radio spots, concerts, store parties, and straight chillin' with the N*E*R*D crew... just a "day in the life". What a life.

While Meez showed us the temporary concert footage version of the video last week, there is in fact a full blown version coming soon! And in true N*E*R*D fashion they went all out. Peep the custom painted Rolls Royce done by Friends With You...



Just silly juxtaposition but it came out kinda crazy!





I was picturing a beach theme but the Mad Max/ California Love desert vibe it appears to have looks much better! This video is going to be outrageous.

N*E*R*D @ Syracuse University

Team SwaggerDap hit up Syracuse last weekend for SU's annual Block Party concert which featured N*E*R*D, Drake, K-OS, and Francis in the Lights. And while I wasn't allowed to bring my camera inside the Dome, BBC just posted from pics from the show...


For concerts in the Carrier Dome they have to cover half of the stadium and only use about 15,000 seats...

So N*E*R*D and Fam-lay took the time to play some football on the legendary field. NO WONDER they took so long to come on...


While much of the crowd was there for Drake, there were definitely some N*E*R*D die-hards in attendance, but I must say that our section of friends jumped and Spaz'd better than anyone!

Been waiting to see N*E*R*D for years now so this was an absolutely amazing experience for me. Next time I need to see them in a small venue full of N*E*R*D heads though!

1,000 Posts and Runnin'

It's been one year, six months, and thirty days since we started this blog, and damn have we come a long way. Been through 4 cameras, more countries than I would have imagined, and met some really amazing people. I used to get mad when Meezy would blog about his lunch, and now we're being sourced by the likes of Hypebeast and Honeyee, as well as actually making a difference for some of these brands. And even with all of that, I promise that this is just the beginning.
Some of you have been with us from day 1 and some of you might be reading this as your very 1st SwaggerDap visit, so here are just a handful of pictures to catch you up on the past year and a half...


We started in this little cubicle at Syracuse University with an idea and a ton of work to do...

Up at Syracuse we got into some shenanigans, which for some reason usually involved taking some traffic paraphernalia, or in this case shopping carts...

We also happened to move out to Hong Kong for a few months...

Visited South East Asia where, as you can see, we were treated like celebrities...

On our travels we hit up crazy releases everywhere from Juice in Hong Kong...

To Bodega in Boston...

And saw some amazing works like the Michael Lau Crazy Force One exhibit...

Also had the chance to build with tons of great people, like Marcus Troy in Montreal...

Got to meet NERD at the BBC/ Ice Cream store ...


And if you ever had the chance to hang out with us, you know we like to have fun and act like idiots all the time...

Like when we had the BBQ of fake Jordans and Bape...

And when Meezy met the mysterious girl in the white dress up in Toronto...



Overall I just want to thank everyone who visits the blog, the brands that we have built such great relationships with, anyone who has retweeted a blog post, and all of the people who have taken time to listen to our ideas and help us build what we have. Special thanks to Yom and Joan for your help, you're coming with us on this ride.

So keep it locked to SwaggerDap, and I feel like a broken record, but you won't be disappointed with what we have in store.

Pharrell Buggin Out at McDonalds for a Big Mac

Just saw this on Twitter and started dying cause it's some shit I can see one of my friends pulling.

Apparently a hungry Pharrell, NERD, Famlay & crew were waiting for a flight in Paris at 6am and the McDonalds just wasn't serving real food yet. So this was P's attempt with song and dance to get something other than breakfast.

"I want a Big Mac, fillet-o-fish, quarter pounder, french fries, icy cold milk shake, sundaes and .......... c'mon say it ........ apple pie"

He's about to get picked up by McDonalds with that little on the spot jingle there, damn catchy.

Here's the video to Sooner or Later - one of my favorites off the "Seeing Sounds" album. The video concept deals with the stock market crash and may be a tad depressing. But it does get a little light hearted towards the end.

Converse Campaign hits NYC

You've probably heard about Converse bringing N*E*R*D, Santogold, and The Strokes together for their new ad campaign. The collaborative song "My Drive Through" came out last month along with the black and white pictures of these artists rocking some Chucks.
Well the campaign has officially hit the streets of NYC.




So be a good hipster and go cop some Converses now, ok?

BBC/ Ice Cream Season 7 Lookbook

BBC/ Ice Cream has just released a Lookbook for their upcomming 7th season. Some nice new items along with some returning classics that got modded.

Tops wise, there is some nice outerwear for the winter (the black joint is mine) with the patchwork in full effect on the winter jackets. Also some blazers that look interesting to say the least. Then the graphic tees and crews use some nice illustration which gives a real nice classic look.
For bottoms, the jeans look clean and I'm interested in the new fit of denim.
Lastly the footwear has so much going on. Looks like at least 2 new models of shoes, one looking more like a boot and the other resembling Vans with the D&D pattern. Also the return of the boutiques may finally be here with a few boomboxes spotted in the book.
