Kanye West - Power | Video
Yes this is a video for Kanye's new single Power, but don't get it twisted, it's not a music video! OK?! It's an experience, a moving portrait, that happens to have Kanye's Power playing in the background...
Yeah I honestly don't care that I'm a whole 4 days late on this; I haven't had internet and after watching this for the 3rd straight time this morning, I'm sublimely inspired. The visual is stunning. Directed by Marco Brambilla.
Not sure how Kanye stays so creative and inspired himself but it's really amazing watching this man create. He said that this album or the album after this will be his masterpiece, and a complete culmination of his work and career. Yeah as a fan if that doesn't get you excited to hear his album, nothing will.
And yes yes there was an uncensored version with bewbs, but it got taken down for the time being.
UPDATE: Peep the directors cut. trying to decide which I prefer now.

T.I.T.S - For Boobs Breast Cancer Bracelets
Obviously, The TITS brand is all about...boobs. And as a brand that gets a lot of attention - whether stares and thumbs up from a fellow perv, or glares and thumbs down from soccer moms and old ladies - they've decided to release these braclets in an effort to raise money for Breast Cancer research.
“T.I.T.S. for BOOBS” bracelets are only the beginning to a huge breast cancer awareness push that we will be launching October 1 (Breast Cancer Awareness Month). For every bracelet sold for $2.99, $1 will be donated to help aid Breast Cancer Research. These bracelets will be a perfect conversation starter and we see it as a great way for everyone to show their support towards this much-needed research.
I dig it; and I'm behind it. But I'm seriously dissapointed in the fact that so far, it's been hard for them to MAKE their donations - as foundations have actually declined the money, not wanted people to know TITS donated to them, or even simply said they wouldn’t take their money.
But TITS is still pushing forward and decided that the cause is greater than the brand itself; and although they've found a foundation that is willing to accept their donations anonymously, they're still looking for one that's willing to fully partner with them on the campaign. Until then, TITS is going to keep spreading the word and make every effort to keep their following updated on the total amount raised each month, so they know how their efforts have paid off.
You can start grabbing the bracelets now at ShopTits.com.

Foot Locker "Butter Shoes" Commercial | Video
Foot Locker's new "It's a Sneaker Thing" ad campaign has be pretty funny thus far, and connecting with their sneaker head market quite well. This is their latest commercial, Butter Shoes...
Not so laugh out loud funny but when I saw it, I just thought that this is a dumb conversation Meezy and I would have. Cause when we are chilling and a girl in Crocs walks by, it's not pretty.
Kinda wish they picked something sexier than some Free running shoes for the girl in the commercial to wear though. Oh well, could be worse.

DURKL - a/w 2010 Preview
While the collection isn't yet finished, DURKL gives us a good preview of what's in store for their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. Mostly in the form of some really nice outerwear pieces...
Seriously, *clap, clap, bravo* to this collection. Durkl just keeps getting stronger as the seasons go by and to me this is by far their strongest season. On first glance everything looks overly simple, but they add those perfect color accents and pocket & hardware details to make each piece unique and very DURKL. Can't wait for this all to drop. I'll keep you updated on the lookbook and release dates when the time comes.

Introducing vitaminTHICK
vitaminTHICK is an up and coming streetwear brand out of Boston, introduced to the SwaggerDap team, through our boy Pete. Take a peep of what these guys got going on - it's something playfully serious.
vitaminTHICK was built around the positivity of our childhoods; and this inspiration is carried out through the content and quality of their products. While they're not trying to be a "throwback" brand, their unique and creative incorporation of nostalgia and social commentary is the signature of the vitaminTHICK name.
And although they are still a relatively young company, they're already experiencing great retail success, as their first season was in stores this past Spring, at locations including: Bodega in Boston, Sneaker Junkies in Providence, and Shop412 in Pittsburgh.
My favorite piece is the "Rainy Season" tee, which has a cousin crewneck called "Herring Bone". And as some of the designs are limited to a 100 pieces, I imagine they're selling out quickly. So hurry up and peep the vitaminThick online store, and get 'um while they're hot.

CurT@!n$ x Black Scale - The Dissertation Mixtape and Clothing Collection
John and I are big CurT@!n$ believers, and proud to share his latest collaboration with Black Scale Clothing.
This 1st installment of The Dissertation series - “The Wu-Thesis”, finds CurT@!n$ going in over his favorite Wu-Tang beats, while also releasing a collaborative hoody and t-shirt, between Black Scale and CurT@!n$’ fashion label - Free World. The Album, T-shirt and Hoody were all made available this past Saturday at the BlackScale flagship store out in Cali. You can download the album from CurT@!n$' blog, or this UserShare link, courtesy of 2DB.
I haven't had a chance to listen to the album; but I'm sure it's Dope, boy. (See what I did right there?) But if you still need some convincing, take a listen to 2 Sports Cars, over on SongZiGe.
And if you want the Tee or Hoody, hit up Black Scale below.
