Nike SB Fall 2010

Nike SB has been overlooked quite a bit over the past couple of years, but ever since NikeTown NY started carrying the team editions I've realized that they are slowly but steadily making a nice comeback. Some standouts for the Fall are a very simple yet very sexy purple suede bruin...



...as well as the Street Fighter Pack witch features a Dunk Low for Chun Li and Dunk Mid (without the strap?) for Ryu...






People are still going ga-ga for solid color kicks so I'm sure the Bruins will be wildly popular, but I'm really impressed by the Dunks, which have easily turned into Nike SB's toughest and most saturated 'canvas' to design on. Both Dunks capture their characters quite well; Chun Li with the softed materials and amazing blue, as well as Ryu with the simple white/off white base and torn and faded red canvas swoosh. Not sure if there is any hype building around these, but even minus the Street Fighter reference, these get the thumbs up.

Look for the Dunks by the end of the month and the Bruins in October at your local skate shop.
