All Orange Everything Tees for Sale

Paying homage to Syracuse University's amazing run in Mens College Basketball this year, the SwaggerDap team (of proud Syracuse Alumni) is proud to present the All Orange Everything Tee...

The tee playfully counters Jay-Z's "All Black Everything" movement; but shows respect with three Blue Print 3 stripes on the back, along with the words "Run This City" - hinting to the song that inspired it, and stating that SU is Running This City!

The tees were designed by Chhorvy (yet another Cuse alum), who also did our business cards! They just came in and we'll be selling them on campus for the #4 Syracuse vs #8 Villanova game today. We know there are plenty of alumni and fans that can't make it to this game so we are also making them available online so that our Syracuse family can get theirs no matter where they are.

Thanks for the support! and GO CUSE!

DOUBLEDUTCH Web store opening

DOUBLEDUTCH is one of the longest running streetwear stores in Nagoya. They have gone from opening the doors of their first small store in Sakae, Nagoya in 1982, to now being the local franchise holders for HOODS, Undercover and Supreme, as well as still running the DOUBLEDUTCH shop.

To celebrate their 28th anniversary they have decided to open a web store, Scramble Mart. To commemorate this mile stone NBHD designer Shinsuke Takizawa and Jun Takahashi from Undercover have designed some exclusive items only available from the new web store.

The web store launches tomorrow.

Congratulations to Kawashima-san and everyone at DOUBLEDUTCH!

LVMH Launches NOWNESS.com

Luxury conglomerate LVMH, who basically runs the world of luxury and high end goods, has launched a new web project in NOWNESS.com. The aim of the site is to offer the latest and most captivating content in the worlds of fashion, design, travel, photography, etc., and let the reader dictate what they want to see more and less of.

Over the past few months it has been acting as a pretty basic blog, but has now officially launched into a more interactive space where you can "Love" or "Don't Love" stories, as well as use their interactive explorer (above image) to find the content right for you. I was skimming through the old content the other day and if it is any reflection of what is to come, it should be a great site to keep an eye on.

You can also follow NOWNESS on twitter.

And if you are unfamiliar with LVMH (short for Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), they are far and away the largest luxury conglomerate in existence, and own other powerhouse companies and houses such as Marc Jacobs, Dior, Fendi, DKNY, Dom Pérignon, Belvedere, TAG Heuer, Sephora, and literally dozens more. Their founder, Bernard Arnault, is a regular on the Forbes list, worth over $15 billion.

Supra Skytop Hi "Red/ Black Tie Dye"

Honestly I've never been the biggest fan of Supra, but every once and a while they put out a sneaker that tickles my fancy. And while I wouldn't normally think that a shoe with red and black tie die treatment would be one of those, I happen to like this new Skytop...

Just released, you can cop now from Rugged Sole

Chanel - Haute Couture Spring Summer 2010 | Video

For their Haute Couture Spring Summer 2010 show last month, Chanel released this simple yet fascinating video to show the close details of the line as well as to convey the overall essence...

I'm not sure if it's the stunning clothes, attention to detail, beautiful faces, or ambient music that keeps bringing me back to watch this movie, but the combination of all of them is working great. I think I've watched this thing like 15 times.

You can see the entire runway show, as well as some more bonus videos through Chanel's site.

Nike Lunar Woven Chukka "Multi-check"

Nike is FINALLY putting out some new woven footwear, with these "Multi-check" Lunar (Footscape) Woven Chukkas...

This shoe is amazing. Recently I was leaning towards "Lunar Hyper-Ventilate" as my 1st Lunar purchase, but after seeing these, I have no more interest in those and their ugly Torch upper. Although the Woven aspect with add some ounces to the weight, the Lunar sole is still the most amazingly comfortable and light technology out. And if you haven't tried a pair on, please do yourself a favor!

Great shoe, but on a tangent I need to sit down and talk with someone about these names. The low version of this (with the OG sole) is called the "Air Woven", but the high version is called the "Air Woven Footscape Chukka", even though it looks nothing like a Footscape or Woven Footscape. And now the same exact shoe, except with a Lunar sole, has dropped the "Footscape" from the name. Not that it matters all too much, but I would love to understand it all.

"Akihabara Majokko Princess" by McG and Takashi Murakami, Staring Kirsten Dunst

I don't even know where to start with this one, but apparently Takashi Murakami has gotten together with acclaimed director McG and actress Kirsten Dunst for this ridiculously random music video work of art called "Akihabara Majokko Princess".

Um, Just watch...

I can't lie, this was pretty damn entertaining, with an awkward cameo by Nigo in there, as well as Murakami himself dressed up as a giant one of his animated plush flower balled. Plus who doesn't want to see Kirsten Dunst dressed in anime clothes prancing around the streets of Akihabara?? ... or wait, is that just me?

And for all of those totally lost as to what is going on, Akihabara is one of the most interesting little places in the entire world. Its a small district in Tokyo where everyone dresses up as anime characters, princesses (or Majokko), and whatnot, and it's COMPLETELY NORMAL. There are also tons of anime shops, some are clean and cute, some are very sexual, but all are totally packed all the time. When I visited I saw a concert by the AKB48 as well as visited a Maid Cafe, and both were some of the most interesting things I've ever attended.

Oh and sidenote: the song covered is "Turning Japanese" by The Vapors

Gourmet Footwear - Fall 2010 Womens Teaser Video

Gourmet is raising the bar for themselves in the upcoming Fall season as they get ready to introduce a line for the ladies. While there isn't much of a preview as far as models and variation that the line will carry, this teaser video, entitled "Saturdays", very much so gets across the vibe and essence that they are reaching for.

Video by uxentertainment

Looks like just their simple "Uno" model for a woman but maybe they will also introduce something new and more feminine to capture the market. I think they have a really good opportunity here as their price points are pretty low for a brand that captures the wannabe luxury market pretty well. If they can get that Saks customer on board, they are set.

Supreme s/s 2010 Collection

Supreme has released their preview of the complete Spring/ Summer 2010 collection this morning. The collection is huge as always, but here is just a preview of some stand out pieces...

Overall, I mean it's another clean and safe remixed collection from Supreme. Everything looks pretty good, the colors and patterns work well, and for some reason that ugly greenish-brown leopard print is growing on me fast (in the jacket only). And how awesome are the nunchucks?? (there's a short but sweet video of them in action here)

As I said, this is just a little sample of personal favorites, but you can preview the entire line here.

The collection will be available March 4th at our NY/LA stores and March 6th in Japan.

HUF S/S 2010 Collection

Here is a quick look at some of the items from HUF's Spring/Summer collection

I've never been that into HUF, but the College jacket and the Miner shirt certainly caught my interest. Very nice!
