Neighborhood x Disney Denim (Detailed Shots)

About a week or so ago we showed you some catalog scans of the entire Neighborhood W.D.W.Y.F.W. collection, with some of the most sought after pieces being a collaborative effort with Disney. Here are some über detailed shots of the Level 4s...

I have polar mixed feelings about these. Part of me has always wanted some patched up denim like these Level 4s but at the same time it's a little OD for a Disney collab. I think once the patches get dirtied up and a little more dingy I would enjoy em much more.

These should be hitting your Neighborhood accounts shortly.

Here's a closer view of the anticipated collaboration between streetwear brand Hellz Bellz and jewelry brand Miss Wax.

Here’s an even closer detailed look at the collaborative jewelry causing quite the stir. For the release, both brands will not only release a gold plated two finger ring but like I mentioned, they’ll also drop some laser-cut, fiberglass-reinforced earrings as well. Mark your calendar for November!

And the never before seen laser-cut, fiberglass-reinforced plastic HELLZ earrings.

Mosley Tribes and Hellz Bellz Chamber Sunglasses

Lanie from Hellz Bellz decides to team up with Mosley Tribes on a special collab frame, Chambers. Having Hellz Bellz as Mosley Tribes first collab with a female streetwear brand, it looks like a good place to start with. In the the past collabs, Mosley Tribes have done collaborations with Free City, Crooks and Castle, and HUF.

There are two custom colorways – black/red inside with grey gradient lenses and vintage tortoise/jade green with spice brown gradient lenses for Mosley Tribe’s Resort/Spring 2010 collection which will be in stores by November 2009.

The concept of this season’s collection is based on 70’s and 80’s retro fashions influenced by colors from various sports cultures. This window frame is a fashionable spin on the staple wrap with adjustments to make the frame look edgy and updated. The retail price of these special frames are $220 and are sold exclusively to key tastemaker boutiques that carry Hellz and Mosley Tribes. There is only a limited run of 250 in each colorway. This window frame is a fashionable spin on the staple wrap with adjustments to make the frame look edgy and updated.

The custom Hellz colorways also dons a gold metal plaque inside the frame and a cracked bottle plaque at the end of left temple. The middle bridge with the discreet laser etched Mosley Tribes logo actually pops out to create a plastic double bridged aviator look as well. The side window lenses are also gradient and 100% UV protection grade.

Gas'd - "Love is Real" (August 1st)

Gas'd, a new line out of Cali, will be introducing their very 1st season on August 1st. "Love is Real" is the collection, which features the overly simple aesthetic of 4 basic shapes that "spell" LOVE.

To be honest I'm not sure how I stumbled upon this brand, but the second I saw their stuff I was in love with it. The overly simple aesthetics of the shapes are awesome, and even though it may not seem it, each shirt carries such a different feel. I remember learning in class how shapes and angles can compliment certain bodies and direct your eyes to different places, which is exactly what these shirts do. Definitely have to at least pick up the ▲❍▼❏ (LOVE) logo tee and maybe another.

As far as I know the line is unisex and will be launching through their Gas'dsation webstore on August 1st.

Also be sure to check out AFTA-1, who works with Gas'd and does everything audio for them.

1,000 Posts and Runnin'

It's been one year, six months, and thirty days since we started this blog, and damn have we come a long way. Been through 4 cameras, more countries than I would have imagined, and met some really amazing people. I used to get mad when Meezy would blog about his lunch, and now we're being sourced by the likes of Hypebeast and Honeyee, as well as actually making a difference for some of these brands. And even with all of that, I promise that this is just the beginning.
Some of you have been with us from day 1 and some of you might be reading this as your very 1st SwaggerDap visit, so here are just a handful of pictures to catch you up on the past year and a half...

We started in this little cubicle at Syracuse University with an idea and a ton of work to do...

Up at Syracuse we got into some shenanigans, which for some reason usually involved taking some traffic paraphernalia, or in this case shopping carts...

We also happened to move out to Hong Kong for a few months...

Visited South East Asia where, as you can see, we were treated like celebrities...

On our travels we hit up crazy releases everywhere from Juice in Hong Kong...

To Bodega in Boston...

And saw some amazing works like the Michael Lau Crazy Force One exhibit...

Also had the chance to build with tons of great people, like Marcus Troy in Montreal...

Got to meet NERD at the BBC/ Ice Cream store ...

And if you ever had the chance to hang out with us, you know we like to have fun and act like idiots all the time...

Like when we had the BBQ of fake Jordans and Bape...

And when Meezy met the mysterious girl in the white dress up in Toronto...

Overall I just want to thank everyone who visits the blog, the brands that we have built such great relationships with, anyone who has retweeted a blog post, and all of the people who have taken time to listen to our ideas and help us build what we have. Special thanks to Yom and Joan for your help, you're coming with us on this ride.

So keep it locked to SwaggerDap, and I feel like a broken record, but you won't be disappointed with what we have in store.

1,000 posts and running...

Nike Boat Shoe x Blazer Hybrid "AC ND"

Always getting the exclusives before they drop, Osneaker has just received an upcoming hybrid shoe that Nike as put together. The boat shoe aesthetics mixed with the classic blazer silhouette make for a very classic sneaker.

Loving the woven details and leather laces on this, just wish that I could see it with a black midsole. Yea, completely murdered out.

Look for these to drop with the next collection of premium Blazers very soon. Or if you are a size 9 you can grab this sample right from here.
